£1300 for a 1043 cl coupe?

i was chatting to my brother the other day,

and he was telling me that back when he passed his test, it was in some cases cheaper to pay the fine for driving without insurance than it was to pay for insurance! (not saying that he ever did that mind! just something he was told!)

but then they introduced the IN10 conviction + points to stop that.

insurance is an absolute wallet rape though!

Insurance on my mini is £2300 fully comp, i'm 20, 3 years driving, no convictions, no claims, no NCB (been a named for 3 years). It would be less on a standard mini, but mines got a 2 litre red top in it
