need to know what the best filler is out there for bumpers

plastic bumper filler! you can get special filler for plastics that wont crack like normal car body filler would

plastic padding elastic filler

thats what I've used on mine

when filling mate build it up in thin layers as it makes it stronger and not one big clump

ah ok cheers mate, just went and bought some of that loctite body filler which I'm pretty sure will be alright for plastic bumpers but what grade paper should i use to sand it down, any ideas ??

could u just put filler in the side grills on a 16v bumper? then sand over it then paint?

once the filler is applied and just over the surface level

start with a p80grit disc to get the shape

now use a p320 to get it almost flush

then a p120 disc

now apply a stopper

and finally a p500 disc

prime then wet flatten

check for imperfections and correct

then paint ( i would now wipe over with a tak rag ) and lacquer

wet flat again and machine polish then glaze

and finality polish and wax

all done any prob's just PM me

stopper is a very fine filler that will smooth out any air holes and light scratches that may be left in the filler after sanding i use a 3m red putty

and wet flatten is just wet and dry sanding :-D
