take a pic of the side of there gt block from passenger side so i can see where all the coolant pipes go, cheers

Now i don't know i this helps but this is a pic from my Mk2 Coupe S. I'm just in process of doing the same conversion as you and I have taken nearly 100 photos of the GT engine bay bar the one you are after!!! :)

If you still need one I can get one done tomorrow when it is light!! :)

not quiet but close, need the other side of the dizzy.

top tip, get all the wiring from the gt and you will need to change all the looms including the headlights one.

well thats two wires identified! the gt header tank is different! lol

i need the other side of the bay kinda down the back ish but tanks anyway as you've sorted two wires out!

max, was the picture of that engine taken when it was in and running? if so why are you missing a pipe shown by the red line on this picture? (bottom left)

On a GT there is no pipe there.

Its only used by spi's iirc.

if there is a pipe on yours as you shown someone has used a spi thermostat housing and blocked it up with a pipe.
