Revoked Licence - Going Court :o(

Featured Replies

Mmm that is true . The thing is with myself now living with parents and having a large amount of spendable income i think my best bet is to pay the fine as quickly as possible . I have heard that the most i will be looking at is around 2K iff i am found guilty . That will unfortinatly mean no going out or a lack of saving for a new car for 4 months but then id rather get rid of everything as soon as posible as i wouldnt want to be paying for it 2 years down the line .

Cheers for the advice guys ..

Its going to be intresting when i go to court . It really is .

When you do your outgoings, make it so you've got as little left as possible, if you want to pay it off in one go, you can elect to later, but it can help bring the actual amount down. Worked for me when I got pulled with no MOT, there were people the same week got twice the fine I did.

Get your weekly wage, after tax and NI then deduct

You live at home - pay your old dear £75 a week for rent, food and housekeeping - you just give her the money, so there's no documentation ;)

Mobile phone bill

Meals when at work

Couple of nights out a week

Tenner on the lottery

and so on, just things that it would be reasonable to spend money on.

As long as you dont realy take the piss when you fill in the means form its very unlikely that they'll ask you to prove what you've written, as above put down every penny you can think of that you spend as it'll be no good thinking of something once the case is over. I would realy try and look into to the fact that you never recieived any information regarding your second offence thus not knowing your licence had been revoked as a result.

Got some more news back everyone ..

I have another court date i have been found guilty of all offences

I have to return to court for a hearing over my punishment . Iff not i will be banned due to the totting up precedure and therefore will have say a 6Month driving ban .. Pants hey

I shall go to court and try and show how much the origional almost 4 months has affected my life and hopefully the judge will take pitty on me and give me a fine instead.

Its a never ending saga at the moment is this ..

14th Feb here i come ..

Awww thats gutting. Yea you need to plead like hell. Make them feel for you, and definately show remorse. Bit of a crap day for court...but who knows maybe the judge will be loved up lol and feeling kind

When you go to court just tell the Magistrates or the district judge the truth and explain the whole situation but keep it short and to the point, we spend hours having to listen to people's hard luck storys and bullshit so if you just pressent the facts as quickly and simply as possible it will go in your favour and may just cut a bit of ice with them. Good luck and I hope the truth comes out :)

Cheers matey ..

Hopefully they will be kind on me . I really do need a car for driving to work and going on site visits ect . I have had almost 6Months without a car so for them to give me a 6 or 12 Month ban i would be extreemly harsh .

I sharnt try and make them feel sorry for me i will just make sure they are aware that i have learnt alot from this ordeal and i am extreemly sorry for the offences i have commited .

I think they would of just banned me on the other court date iff there wasnt a posability of me regaining my licence .

Hopefully things go alright .. :?

I'm prepared for the worst though to be honest . It will be better that way .
