Oldeboi's MK1 Project.

Featured Replies

Heres my new project the morning after rixy and his mates dropped it off,

newcar003.jpg

Its solid in all the right places, inner wings, floors, roof.

Not too sure where I'm going with it yet, I'm just getting the body straight and rust-free first then see whats-what after that.

Both mine and my wifes first car was an old yellow MK1 so I'm toying with the idea of building it up to like that, but looking at it in silver makes me think it should stay as is-time will tell.

What i do know is that it will be lowered, lightened (stripped out) and sport the engine and running gear from my daily hack GT.

I've managed to find all the panel work i need, just need to track down some of that elusive time to get it sorted.

Peace, Love, Dope, Kitkats.
