When I had my Mk2 Golfs, I tried so many things, but the best was Kiwi boot polish. Not the one in the tin, the bottle with the spong at the top...bloody fantastic. give it a good buff once its dried and it last for ages and it didnt run when it rains. And it well cheap too!

used autoglym bumper car..awesome stuff....doesnt wash off easily either

Don't think I've heard of that Kiwi stuff, I guess Autoglym would be good for the price...

Can anyone advise me on T-Cutting? I know it sounds daft but I've never done it before.. is it just the same as waxing?

autoglym bumper care as neil says above.. Works a treat and it also doesn't run as bad as others when it rains!

I've heard... but never tried... that Linseed Oil works well on bumpers etc to get them black and lasts ages but as i said, i have never tried it.

Also heard that Kiwi polish is goof stuff.

T-cutting similar to waxing. Just get the stuff on a nice clean soft rag. Wipe it over each panel thoroughly in circular motion and then when done, buff off with a clean cloth. Sorted. Theres better things than t-cut out there, but if you aint got a show car its a nice way to make it look a bit shinier!

Degrease it, then use some vinyl dye.
