1.05 cl lambda sensor to gt

Featured Replies

after recently doing a gt conversion on my cl, i still haven't worked out how to wire in my lambda.

so i have the lambda in the exhaust and a four pin plug coming from it, but as my gt loom was chopped up by a small monkey! i have no new plug to plop into it, so "CALLING ALL GT OWNERS" could you please tell me what colour wires you have coming from your loom into your lmbda plug?

pics would be brilliant! cheers.

Purple is the signle wire, brown is the earth (bolts down to the inlet manifold), red/yellow and black are for the heaters in the lambda.

Just to add purple wire is the wire used for haveing a fuel ratio gauge in your car so you get a read out of how ritch or lean your car is.

ok doing this 2mora, but still not 100% sure as purple wire is the single one, red/yellow, and black are for the heaters in the lambda. so thats three wires but theres 4 wires on the plug?????????

Yea, the forth is the earth. Its a short brown wire with a ring terminal on the end, which bolts down the the inlet manifold.

ok now i'm lost.

i have 4 wires coming from my lambda sensor.

to a plug with four bits on it.

then have my infamous chopped wiring loom with a bunch of wires so i need to know what wires from the gt loom go onto what bit of the plug and what bit gets earthed.?

sorry for sounding like a spoon. any help welcome.

cheers.

Your lambda is the wong one matey.. You need a 3 wire lambda. With x1 black and x2 white cables.

Basically the brown connector is the earth but is only on the loom side.

The black goes to the black on the lamda and the red/purple goes to the whites on the lambda (either white)

ok just to confirm, the brown gets earthed, the red/and yellow wire and the purple wire goes to the white wires either way round, and the black to black yeh?
