my insurance is with quinn direct i have been with them for three months an i am paying monthly. i am the additional driver on my fathers name. when i signed up with them i wanted the direct debit to be from my account but after three months i got a letter saying the direct debit should be from the policy holder which is my father no moeny has been taken out and i have been told by them i have four days to change the direct debit or they will cancel my policy

help would be appreciated thanks

can you not just give your dad the monthly installments and get your dad to set up the direct debit?

i could do that but I'm was just wanderin why did they approve the policy and not contact me straight away. its been three months thanks

If you want to keep the policy why don't you just set up the DD for your Dad's account. That would seem to solve the matter. Simple is it not?

Ask them if theres anyway you can have the DD from your account. CIS don't allow it over the phone, but do if you have a rep round.

I think they'd be hard pushed if you can document that you gave them the bank details and they acceptted them and they never took the money.

Might mean dealing with a debt collection firm (easy enough to send packing) and a court visit, but I think you'd be on pretty firm ground.
