Just a few pics of my polo, will be updating this thread as I make any adjustments to the car..

when I got it:

gave it a good clean and the paint work wasn't in a very good state:

So I set about Machine polishing it:

The difference in the paint was something else:

The result, which I was much happy with than when I first got the car:

Thats how it stands at the moment actually, a few changes to come soon

very nice n clean mate how much did the kit set you back? my car is FULL of swirl marks! i think the person who owned it before took it through a car wash! :sad:

very shiny mate well done, if youw ant to keep ontop of that i can recommend the meguires swirl remover if you manage to get any in it.. alot easier than getting the kit out everytime

Don't worry those marks wont be coming back, just careful washing and top up of the wax every few months will keep it looking good

I'm based in w.london, regarding the kit theres a lot more needed to do it properly than in the pic however the rotary polisher is about £180 delivered, but you need to buy the polish and pads on top. You've also got to prepare the paint for polishing and protect it afterwards. Also you need to practice using this rotary polisher before you take it to your pride and joy as you risk damaging your paint if your not careful.

looking fantastic mate. do you live around near southall. i swear I've seen that car.

i see you have a mk1 golf aswell campaign i think

using the proper rotary is risky for beginner and would advise plenty of practise. apparently if you use it on the same area for to long it can burn through the paint.

end results are magnificant tho.

Finally an update..

Managed to get some coilies in November, they arrived in December and I got round to fitting them in January..

Decided to go with some H&R's after hearing such good reviews about them:

After fitting them I covered them with motorbike chain wax:

Managed to fit the fronts and it was looking like this for a day:

Next day fitted the rears and adjusted the hieght a bit (also gave it a long overdue wash):

And a few random pics, still got to get some proper pics:

Yeh, thats a smart way of doing the rear lights. Look mint. How long did it take you? Where did you get all your stuff from?

BTW your car could be a bit lower lol Looks awesoem tho!
