Bit of a mini update... some may have seen the car at MIVW over this weekend, absolutely phat show..glad I made the effort to cruise over. Car was hassle free, 850miles no issues :D

Here it is first thing Saturday morning, had to raise the back for the trip as there's no way I would've done it with my daily height carrying 4 people with a boot full of luggage!

Drove through some serious rain in France and Belgium but once we hit Holland the sun came out, car was filthy when we got to the hotel so here it is after a wash and a dress up (pic taken in the evening):

About time I update this, for those that didn't see the car at edition I have now sold the bbs rz's in 15's and fitted some 34 bolt 16" convex weave bbs rs's :)

They are 7x16 and 8x16 et45 all round originally and needed a complete refurb to get them looking like this! This includes, 2 replacement 0.5" lips for the front, DIY polished lips and center nuts, powder coated silver centers, chrome plated original bbs bolts and nuts, new center badges and tyres! :)

Loving the 6n.. Loving the wheels mate :D... need a set of these :D

that looks sick!!

cheers all, 16's are defo the way forward on 6n's and 6n2's.. 15's don't fill the arch all round in my opinion..

did anyone spot the car at edition or just seeing it now?

Ok another update that the forum isnt aware of. Back in May 09 managed to source a mint late black mk3 16v recaro interior complete with 5dr doorcards to fit a mk3. Having been on the lookout for a mint set for a few months when this came up I snapped it up pretty much straight away and collected it from manchester!!

Along with that I've taken my bros BBS steering wheel and large spline boss which ties in together very nicely if I do say so myself.

So the interior went from this:

To this:

Which makes the inside alot more nicer place to be..and driving to Holland no so uncomfortable ;)

Also some pics when the wheels first went on and I was rocking the black and silver bbs 3d badges (shows the fitment from the rear):

car looks really nice mate...how are you that low on 16s though? have you had arch work or just got seriously stretched tyres??

really dont like the steering wheel though...ugly is the word lol

love it mate

looks fresh

you going UD

pm me

cheers

lol the answer is H&R coilovers and 165/40 front and 195/40 rear tyres. Would you believe me if I said I did absolutely zero arch work and it never rubbed, even 3 up and a massive sub box in the back?

Jay I'm not at UD's but if that changes i'll let you know
