Can I get any better insurance at the age of 34?

Featured Replies

Hello

Right I'm 34

Not had my own policy before

Unemployed (e.g HIC won't ensure me)

Been driving 3 years as a named driver

My mk2 polo has a philj 60/40 kit

bit of debadging at back, trim removal.

Cheapest so far with all above declared is 496.65 fully comp with Direct line plus their free 1 year no claims.

Is this as good as it gets? because of my unemployment

Irony is having a car will help me get a job living in a rural place.

Cheers Dunc

when I was unemployed HIC would insure me but wanted an extra £40, which I refused to pay, so my car was on my driveway for 3 months while I played with it. that was a couple of years though.

Tried Lancaster?

CIS?

CIS was 491.73 but in their small print they won't touch mods, could maybe phone and ask.

I'll try Lancaster cheers :)

Any other suggestions or is my quote pretty good anyway?

Just did quote on line with Lancaster £700

It's because they can't put me in their classic insurance because of unemployment.

Any other suggestions or opinions welcome.

have you tired using moneysupermarket, or another compairson website. might find cheaper ones that way??

I'm 31 and pay £500 fully comp with 4yrs no claims on my xr2 (i do have a dr10 and six points :crybaby:) Your quote sound resonable to me.

Hello,

Have you tried Adrian Flux?

If you would be interested in getting a quote PM me your name and contact number and i can get a member of the underwriting team to contact you.

Dan.
