excellent stuff!

excellent stuff!

Fully agree with that, if you're going over 30ish you dont even need your wipers on

i told a friend about my wipers sometimes not working and he said get some rain-x then everyday is like the film speed because you cant drop below 50 or you car/bus will explode...

well it wont but over 50 it beads on the screen and runs off a treat.... well worth it...

mk1 golf wipers are comical at best anyway, better now I've got a mono wiper but that doesnt clear the clear the full scren area so this works a treat

Yeah, 'tis good stuff. Used it on the Beetle which was just as well when the wipers packed up in a rather heavy downpour

By far the best window polish ever!

As stated water just flies off the screen at any speed at all! If you coat your wiper blades with the stuff too when you apply it then that helps too. You can get rainex screenwash too i think which applies some every time you spray, but I've never used this stuff.

hfords sell it as a double pack at the moment for about 7quid - the actual product and the screenwash additive.

thats mint think i'll be buying some of that

worst is when youre going fast in the wet and your wipers start to lift up and dont wipe the water of the window anymore :ninja: i poo my pants soon after that happens and slow the fook down lol

Good way of keeping your licence then if you don't buy some

Was thinking of getting some of this but didn't know if it was worth it..sounds it though 8-)

It also works wonders on motorcycle helmet visors and glass shower doors ;)

Yeah, I noticed that in my Mk3. I posted a thread about it in fact, then realised I probably shouldn't be doing triple figures in the wet

You shouldn't be doing triple figures in a Mk3 full stop. You tried pressing the brakes at those kind of speeds? May as well just put your hand out the window and create drag haha  *The above is not from personal experiance :ninja:

Oh and Toby, Nice avatar :)

i have heard the repellant is good but is the actual glass cleaner any good ??

it also makes it easier to clean ice off the windows and they clear up quicker when demisting

i bought some ages ago and have never got round to putting it on.

i know tomorrow i will be freezing my fingertips off scraping the windows with a bank card.

maybe i will put some on when i get to work!

del got a spray bottle of it recently and we were on a trip down to Glasgow and i didnt even notice it was raining for starters.. Looks good and works well as a degreaser. Just glides off!

hmmm i think i will raid the car products cabinet... I'm sure i have some somewhere i will slap it on and see what happens

Think I'm gonna have to get some know you lot all rate it :)

does this stuff work on all of the windows not just the windscreen ??

You would think so...as both the window and the windscreen is made from glass :smirk:

How long does it last before you have to re-apply? Does it survive washing the car?

Yeah you can wash the car fine and it stays. Re-apply every couple of months or so.

The anti-fog stuff as well, for inside your windows, is amazing! :D

I wonder how it works... once dry, does it leave smirrs or any marks?

i'm just gona wash my whole car with rain-x :D

wont need to wash it for months
