ok i have managed to get some valves and seats for g40 so i need a head so i can get the work done while car is still on road then swap heads etc

so i need a standard head for g40 cheers

All the mk3 1.3 litre heads are the same except for differing cams, exhaust valves and valve springs. I assume you will be replacing this lot anyway?

not all 1.3 heads are the same. the valve stem size varies

Also, some have double valve springs, and some don't... Although, that's something that can be sorted when rebuilding them.

Got a GT head (less cam). Previous owner said it was new, but I'd say most likely a recent refurb. I hardly ran it before pulling the engine out for something I never got round to.
