Ordering some tyres this afternoon and as title says i just want to confirm if 185 55 14 tyres will fit my gt square? I've read people saying that they fit the coupe but haven't seen any posts relating to the square.

do youself a favour and order 165/55 r14, they deffo wont scrub, have a very low profile and generally look the nuts on a mk3, oh and they are similar in price to 185/55s

Are there any you recommend as can't seem to find many 165 55's? Would 165 60 14's be any good as there seems to be loads in this size? Thanks for the help

hankook ventus ones are pretty good, never gave me any trouble anyway! £40 from mytyres.co.uk for the 165/55s.

you could use 165/60s, but the profile will be out by a bit, they still wont scrub though, you could even fit 165/65s and the will be fine
