well my heck still got the GT engine in as its to cold to work on the car so the G40 engines been neglected sitting on the bread trolly hibernating, its needing a few wee things like sump gasket, fuel hoses, charger belt etc so will take my time get it done right this time.

So over christmas i hope to wire up some of the oem goodies which dont fully work at the moment.

nearly bought another heck but the owner wasnt willing to get it MOTed for me coming to collect it so that was end of that idea. even when it was me paying for the MOT!

BTW: could have sworn I saw this when I was leaving Glasgow on Friday. Not sure which road/m'way we were on (M8?) as I wasn't driving, but something similar was parked close to road, behind a wire mesh fence facing out towards the road. A vague description, I know

As for wheel choices - BBS RX/RXIIs, whichever ones are 15s

yeah people seem to either love or hate them there enzo cups, thye are actually a bit glittery which never shows up in pics.

i liek them there easy to clean andi get a comment every few month are those new wheels lol i have another 4 up the loft so i have to say that!

I'm not really a wheel man so nto shure waht to replace them with BBS s are out as they talk to long to clean.

probubaly was me daniel it was my work night out on friday so it got abandoned in the safest place i could find so big fence sounds right. its only in one of two carparks usually as it doesnt fit in the buchannan galeries one their ramps are to steep. things to wire up daniel the list is embaracing, the other electric window, the heated seat mats. the headlamp aim adjusters from the fues box to the switch, the afrm, the heater washer jets. the boot light, the cigi lighter, u get the idea.

the G40s staying out till i get the body work fixed as their are one or two wee bits which I'm not happy with so plan on getting them sorted as when the Gs in no money gets spent on anythign else.

max - yeah it was an open air rare as anything! but it ad no mot for the last year so needed brakes serviced and 2 shock absorbers and that was it. some one else bought it and towed it away. it was to far for me to tow! but lookng out for another one.

I agree with neale about the wheels, not really feeling them. Think the BBS would look better

on the wheels, how about coupe GT steels with the CL tophat hub caps and wheel nut covers?

looks sweet rich, loin the heatlight protectors .

i must get round to fixin alot of goodies to mine, buy it then never fix em up like, central lockin, alarm, heated windscreen washers, healight adjuters, plumb the headlight washers etc... I'm a lazy git , half the reason is i aint got ruddy clue with electrics

i think you are current wheels suit tho u cant go wroing with some BBS i think you are current alloys would looks better with lower pro tyres, but then u got the killer arch gap

very nice richard, i may be getting my hands on a squareback gt soon, i think it will be right up your street! will just have to wait and see if i can warrant it and all may well be revealed soon! would be an ideal replacement for my genesis :)

thanks chaps. do u think u can have to many oem bits and it gets cluttered? i keep thinking i must be near the overloading it point.

i keep looknig at the fogs and washer only option for the next one.

haha! it's relatively early days, i haven't gone to view it yet but it might also have a few oem accessories on it too

talking of oem, i'm not sure whether to jump on the oem bandwagon and have my polo fogs, votex grille AND headlamp protectors on the car, could it look a bit overkill? cos i can also get my hands on a set of protectors if i need them!
