lol...50quid excess job done!

what about trimming a bit of plastic to size and making it fit snuggly in the little gap?

or get 5 door mk5 strips and trim them to fit?

ye man allready printed this off for sum help, cheers mate

I've been thinking about this also,,,,when i got my car back i had a new screen put in while it was been worked on so dont really want to take the new one out..Think ill put some on as they are and no doubt ill need another screen later down the line,,,then put a 6n2 one in.

An does the 6N2 one definately fit straight off... Some job trying to explain to the insurance company that you need a differnet windscreen than your car... Lol

That is the only bit I'm worried about! haven't a clue what will happen when it comes too that.

Suppose just insist on it and say its always been with them roof rails and I was advised to change to a 6n2 for a better fit...

Thats once it fits? I've heard about people talking about it but never actually seen one done!
