Can I get 17 inch alloys on a Mk7?

I've been fancying a set of 17" Audi A8 style alloys and don't know whether they would fit.

My Mk7 is standard suspension, hasn't been lowered.

yea easy mate, I've got 17"s on my mk6 and still room 4 lowering

What size tyres have you got on it?

These are the type of alloys I was thinking of, what d'you think?

alright mate i've got 17's on my polo its a 9N not a 9N2 like yours though but they are extremely similar lets be honest. Theres no trouble with them either you could take it down 60-70mm front and 70mm easily on the rear and thats without fouling at all (mines down 50 at the moment but its going on coilies soon!) tyre size on mine 205/40/17 however 35's would look sweet me thinks!!

What kind of tyres do you run it on? Toyo or something?
