When I got my 13"W7 I did the unthinkable thing of reading the instructions as it is quite a powerful bit of kit and on the box I saw this message that I found was quite unusual. I thought this was a good way of working that the sub is heavy.

At 23.4Kg it is only 1.6Kg under the weight which would not be alowed to be lifted by one person under UK law .

I imagine its in a heafty box iff it weighs that much so it couldwell be over the guidline weight anyway .. It depends on the shape of the box / packaging and the ease of grip for the person carrying it ..

God Damn Work for knowing such pointless annoying facts ! H&S is over the top nowadays !

it is...Had a hernia repair last year after dragging stupid KG around at work.

I have one of these 13w7's too, great sub but with the box is heavy as fook.

I maybe considering selling soon if i get the right money so if n e 1 is interested pm me, :-)

btw the 25kg isnt the law, its the recomended lifting. doesnt sound alot but its becuase its based on a avarage male (female its 20 i think) lifting items of 25kg all day long for a 8 hour day every day..

that was the old law with weight restrictions etc they changed it to reccomended safe lifting weights
