holy crap thats amazingly clean.

i like the red trim grill to, goes well with the white. didnt thinkj they did them in single light versions. sooo much better than with the spots.

have you got any pics of before you cleaned it?

Sorry no pictures before I cleaned, I got carried away stripping it and cleaning and did'nt think to take any photo's.

The arches were removed by drilling the heads off the pop rivets, (dead easy).

This is exactly what I wanted to do to my old Mk2 but I sacrificed all that time, money and hard work on my carburettor that I completely forgot about it !

The missus very kindly bought me brand new mk3 golf 6jx14 steelies for Christmas, will be fitting them at the end of the month when I can afford new 185/55/14 Toyo CF 1'S. :-)

Well Off-Topic but where does everyone find there rich girlfriends fs. My mates g/f owns a Yellow Honda Jordan Civic and my other mates g/f has finished university and become a teacher. :disgust:

Back to topic some Falkens would be cheaper and do the job better. I'm either considering Falkens or Federals.
