Looking to buy a bike rack after christmas if i pass my test, just wondered as alot of people on here seem to ride, weather anyone can recommend me a good one. I don't want to spend loads but i don't want to cheap out either. Probably going to need one that will take three mtbs.(only DJ bikes noting to heavy).

roof rack ftw. they look better IMO, and are just as easy to fit/remove, and bikes sit on them no worries.

good range in halfords, best place to have a play then go on line n get em cheaper....thule are the best, got a few different ones, towbar mounted or high mounted strapped on to the back of the boot.

Get roofbar mounted ones. Much better for your car, and your bikes.

like someone else has said, go for a thule or failing oine of those get a sarris bones 3.

100quid and itll carry 3 bikes. plus it carries em seperatly so nowt gets scratched aaaand it works on a series of splines so its pretty hard for it to collapse in any way.
