i know what you mean, looks like its eyes are to close together! but i think that might be partly down to my lack of ability with a camara!

as for it being ugly, i dont care its my ugly duckling! looks better than fitting a votex or hella spotlight grille IMO, plus it looks like a mk2 in the dark! kinda reminds me of a fiat strada from the front now though!

and yes that polo badge on the grill has been removed, twas on it when i got it!

In black, they scream aftermarket, but on a pale metallic like yours, it might just work.

Anyway, as you say, it's your car and you do to it what you want.

Has the lighting performance improved at night? Mk.3 lights aren't all that at the best of times...

cant be assed with back to black at the mo (though i will probably end up doing it now, seing as i polished the turd today!), only did it a month ago and its already gone a gammy, streaky grey again! i will be giving it the heatgun treatment once spring is here.

yeah the lights are immense, I've not even got the centre lamps running yet, just running a set of halfraud all-weather h4s! I've also done all the earth straps too so that might have something to do with it too

I think its good to be different...can someone photoshop the front of this car to show what Steve is talkin about please...colour coding the grill and light surrounds might be good.

Top marks for going against the grain.... maybe if you get a debadged grill and smoked indicators it will look a lot better... but it ain't too bad man
