I'm in Baildon which is pretty much as nice as it gets in Bradford, but I know what you mean, I could walk to the ghetto in about three mins from my house! Where you at?

I'm in Skipton, i go to uni in Bradford.

lol @ ghetto haha

Ahh, your all a bit posh over there aren't you! I went to college there for a couple of weeks...

What do the AA and RAC etc do to get the door open?

pull out the seal on the window and slide something down to pull up the nob well on a non-central locking version anyway

*THIEVES' GUIDE TO POLOS*

my car was done twice lol so i became an expert on how to break into it. I'm sure everyone knows how to anyway

Still probably better not to say it on an open site.

I only found out today that the mk4s with central locking basically deadlock. I left my window open and had locked the car, tried to open it by pulling up the pin and it just sprang back in. :D Marginally safer :) I am of the thinking though that if someone wants something they'll take it. But it's always good practice to keep your car empty and clean and tidy. "Out of site Out of mind" and all that!

Mine has central locking and i don't have that problem... Not saying your lying or owt, wonder why their different?

dont the mk4 onwards have a shield over the lock mech?

you can see the marks on the top of my drivers door where someone tried to bend my door out and get my polo for free lol :ninja:

i'd love to know how to use plastic strapping, can think of about 100 practical jokes i could do to mates (one in particualr) haaha

If you got any new ones post them, i've run out of ideas, since i found out i've done loads,

remove all fuses,

put inflatable doll in passenger seat

recline seats all the way

remove head rests and put on parcel shelf

take handbrake off and leave outside someone else's house

put MY autolock steering wheel lock on the wheel

other idea's I haven't done because all my mates have now removed their door pins,

steal gear knob

hide head unit

put post-its from the ghost of the former owner in it every night

stick small cardboard boxes with holes cut in them containing tuna&crabsticks in the heater vents

My mate did this to her housemate

Drive car around the corner and put one of those red/yellow toy ones in it's place
