Anyways, I sold my clio 1.6 auto 2 weeks back and got me a VW Polo 1.4CL.

It's stock at the moment, but obviously I’m thinking about doing a few things to it.

I'd like to do most of my mods within the £500 mark.

Angel lights front

Clear side repeaters

Tinted red lights back

Lower 40mm?

Grill Mod (dunno exactly what I’ll do yet).

Wheels, Anything that is not chaved up... Maybe even the wheels on it now in gun metal…

Anyways, Few Pics! Any suggestions for mods please let us know.

coilovers is the way foward dont get 40mm lowering springs i done the same mistake lol keep the 16v wheels just sort the rear lights and indicators out and debadge it

40mm drop will hardly be noticeable, id go for about 80mm but it all depends on the roads around where you live

I think I’ll de-badge it next weekend. Maybe tomorrow if it aint to cold.

I'm not to sure if i should remove the VW badge on the front grill or spray it black.

Err... 80mm seems a little to low? 60mm should look good yea?

I'll be getting paid soon so i guess i'll get me a new stereo and lower it.

40mm wont be a huge difference....just measure your arch gap and work it out from there, but i'd say 60 will look pretty good, 80 even better

She looks a minter though.....get her decked, respray the wheels and then whatever you fancy tbh. Get rid of the tangoed lights, and i'd say get 16v bumpers....just cos i dont liuke 8v bumpers.
