Season of goodwill - Part 2

Featured Replies

I've always though living in a London suburb you won't have much problems that you encounter on estates, but to my big surprise today I have found that my car has had my Enfig S2000 aerial stolen, right outside of my house. This hasn't happened before with my old car, but to happen right before Christmas! And the worst thing is they screwed on the MAHOOSIVE standard aerial on the car to rub it in more!

Where did they get the massive aerial from?!!

No idea, but it's just rubbing it in my face

haha lol nice to see they replaced it with something else

Thats well strange! How much was the aerial?

I hate theiving scum. They must have a tiny good bone in their body for bothering to replace it with another! Seems a bit daft

as they were more likley to get caught?

Temporary solution?

Quite likely will end up doing that, especially as I have 2 standard aerials now. It's still a joke that someone would do something like that

haha lol nice to see they replaced it with something else

I had the wiper blades nicked off my A-reg mk2 while it was parked outside work on a stormy night a few years back, whoever did it chucked theirs on the bonnet.

Best bit was, the ones they nicked off my car were more shagged than their castoffs

LOL!!^^^

my mate richy used to steal peoples wiper blades so theyd buy new ones then go back the next night and put the old ones on and steal the new ones lol!

^^ Hahaha that's hilarious. I found out it was one of my mates that nicked the aerial, didn't realise that so I cut his aerial into 2!

^^ lol serves him right, has he given you your stubby one back now then?

You should put one half on his car and the other half up his arse.

35 fuckin quid, on an ariel? fuck me sideways

i only paid a fiver for my S2000 aerial, £35?

some people will steal anything

There are real and fake ones apparently. I don't know the difference to be honest other than the real ones cost £30 more.

RRP on an Enfig is 35 pounds, the actual Honda aerials from dealerships are around 60 pounds. The "fake" ebay s2000 aerials are 13 quid. You can buy the Enfig aerial from US for around 25, or there's a group buy on ClubLupo everynow and then for 22 quid. It's just finding one that proves to be the problem

Is there any difference in the £35 and the £13 ones?

The ebay aerials don't fit flushly with the base, that's pretty much the only difference. The aerial is now retrieved so I'm all smiles.
