Well on saturday we got it running, i was well chuffed couldn't wait to take it home and show my mates, but then we plugged in the alarm and fooked it.

Basically the alarm seems to have cooked itself when we plugged it back in and had just immobilised itself the valet code wont even override it.

Was gutted so i gave Massy a bell at plush automotive and had a chat, he told me it seems like it needs a new one.

So now i've got to take off the immobiliser and drive it to Plush and get it sorted, which in effect has killed the Image split rims fund

Seeing as before christmas i brought some Hertz high energy front components, tweaters and crossovers off him i thought well why the hell dont i get them fitted and have some nice door cards made. so hopefully this weekend it will be going over to Plush Automotive for a new clifford alarm and some nice door cards and speakers done.

But i now need your advice!

What do i do with these door cards i eventually want the interior brown and cream, and i've gone off leather a bit thinking of having it alcant something or other cant spell it but hopefully someone know what i mean lol, so do i do the door cards brown with cream bits on them do you think it would look gash with the rest of the inside black at the moment????

By the way the washer bottle isn't going to be there its just placed there while its getting finished

Yesterday it was finally time to take the polo out for a drive and i couldn't wait did a few bits and bobs to it and then it was time to take it out for a drive.

It couldn't have been a sunnier day to take it out on was well happy and it grabbed loads of attention on the roads wish made me even happier

Here it is in the workshop in the morning

Unfortuantely after taking it for a quick 5 minute drive one week night i remembered how much the police disliked the whole no front plate issue and could see i was getting quite alot of glares from the old bill, knowing I'm on my final warning for no front plate i thought i best put one on There is no two ways about it, it looks far nicer without it but i decided instead of going for the GB metal front plate i'd go for the old shortened one i used to have.

After having fun in the sun for a bit it was time to take it over to Plush automotive for the alarm.

After talking to Luke i decided on the door crads I'm going dark brown leather on the top of the cards, and light brown alcantara on the bottom and door pods. I'm also putting the rear door cards in and a false floor which will also be trimmed in dark brown leather and light brown alcantara.

Cant wait for it all to be done and will keep you updated on the progress as it happens

Heres the only photo i took of it when i was parked up with my mate and his metro gti (ignore the old expansion tank need to find a polished one that will go in my scuttle tray, where do i get these from???)
