That really annoys me. You help someone out nowadays and its so hard for people to say "thanks" or smile.

Being Christmas I've become a bit of a 'christian' motorist, letting folk out of junctions and shit. If I ever owned a convertible I'd get into soooooo much trouble driving on the roads - because then all the ungrateful people would actually hear me as i shout things like "well don't say thank you then, you ignorant BITCH." Sometimes my wife is so relieved that the windows are wound all the way up most of the time.

When i first started driving i didnt get the whole gestures thing, for broken lights, speed traps etc, so i always used to just wave back haha then wonder who the hell they were lol.

In fact the other day some lexus was flashing honking and waving at me...i waved back and carried on driving, realised i didnt know anybody in a lexus so checked my car out..it was fine....i still wonder who the hell that was.

I'm one those special drivers i think lol.

i was following a guy in a lotus thing (cant remember what it was, small 60's thing), anyway, was heading towards silverstone on the A** doing 85 ish and saw that his boot was open and flapping up and down, so pulled alongside him and started waving and pointing, he just gave me the thumbs up and put his foot down thinking i wanted to race him so i thought right, sod you then, knocked it down to 4th booted it and was easily passed him in no time

Its not just women. I have stopped pointing out faults to other drivers because they're either too stupid, too ignorant or too lazy to understand, or actually care what I'm on about. I've tried telling people about flat tyres, not having lights on at night, and I just get looked at like I'm trying to rob them or something.

same here ...I will flash peeps and point at a light that is out etc or tell someone in a car park etc etc ...even mention to the customer services in supermarket that someone has left their lights on ...I get funny looks for it but would hope someone would do the same for me F.xxx
