mini skips

Azev A's on Mk2 Golf's are sweet! 7.5x16's would be better though.

I had these! Looked awsome once the car had been dropped on its arse!

I personally don't like Azev A's, you see them too much on Vectras nowadays

I Must say i have never seen them on a Vectra before!

Heres my Mk2 on the 7.5x16" before the coilovers came!

That mk1 is sick 8-)

Anymore pics?

Azev A's rock on mk 2's. Been done to death but as with all these things its because they look top!

Steve I will have those wheels off you one day!

Yeah, it's an age old wheel/car combo that you don't see so often these days. Always looked good.

is a yes from me, I reckon they look cool on mk2's.

I would have some if I could find any cheap ones :p

Apparantly, there's a queue? :?

Unless I need cash quick, they'll be staying...

As for not having dish, this is true of the smaller rims, but I can remember seeing a set of 17's on a late 80's Audi coupe once that had quite a deep dish...

Ha ha I thought there might be. I dont blame you really. I wouldnt let go of them unless I had to. I've never ever seen another set in that size.

Keep the pics coming, looking good!

I can't decide whether to go for 195/45s or 195/50s... Or maybe 165/50s? I really don't know...

195/45-15s + -80mm on coilies should work? ET25, 7Jx15"

I hope so

that yellow mk1 hmmm I'm well undecided, the exhaust, mirrors, oval indicators and eyebrow are all not to taste, but the rest of it looks class, shame you sold it, your polo is pants in comparison! mad shame...

rofl at the skip comments about tobys golf, it belongs to him so yeh its gonna be a shed by the time he's finished, as that guy who bought your bready died yet?

and that mk1 polo on the azevs looks the fucking tits, not sure about the azevs on it but the car is fuckin gorgeous, i would sell my left testicle for it, infact id sell both

id love azev a's for mine,,,tghink they're a lovely looking wheel.

I saw it the other day! The same bloke who bought it is still driving it, AND it had a valid tax disc, which meant he's put an MOT and tax on it

Almost wish I hadn't sold it now :o

195/45's for looks, 195 50's for comfort. I dont see the point of 165's unless you need the stretch, imo stretch for the sake of it is a bit silly, up to you of course.

I don't want stretch at all, I hate it  that was an attempted joke, no way in hell am I running a 165 on a 7J!

Comfort is out the equation now, seeing as the car has no interior and going to be super stiff coilies

I'm just wondering if I'd have any noticeable difference between accelaration or fuel economy...

A freind of mine has a set of these painted gloss black but not quite finished, hes kinda given up on them. Wants them sold but cant b arsed to advertise, i could put you in touch if you like pal?....

Well the Head cracked in 3 Places on the 1.3 Engine, so we put a 1.6 Driver engine in there out the Mk2 golf, and it wasnt all up to Scratch, then found out i couldnt insure it, so i just decided to Strip it all and Sold it on as a Rolling Shell!

Wish i didnt now but hey, you learn from your mistakes,

Would also love to know if its still around!

Wish i never got rid mate! Yea all them bits were in the pipeline for being changed but it didnt last that long. lol.

Pity the car is now dead. The wheels are the only thing I have left from it. :-(

Sold it to make way for the yellow Mk.2.

where did you get that grille from stevie its was well nice... is it just a debadged with some say like halfords chrome trim around it? looks good anyway, and is that a mk1 golf cl splitter on the valance?

toby get 195/45 tyres, 195/50 are a tight too high a profile and look gay, handling isnt bad on em just pay for some decent rubber you bumbadger
