Right boys and girls,it's time to get our first Scottish Meet of 2008 organised.

It would be good to get as many people there as possible for the first one....

I voted 3rd of feb in dundee.....i cant to the 10th or 17th cos i'm offshore but if it comes down to it, can still make the 24th :)

hi thay do not have to be foreign i am not fussy.. i votted for perth but not bothered wher it is as long as i can get food.. we nead to get as meny people as we can coss turnouts have bean prity poor

The tappets have got mega noisy, the fuel pump has disintegrated, the gearbox makes a horrendous noise at anywhere above 80, the steering rack bushes have destroyed themselves, the exhaust is blowing but I can't see where, the carb is playing up and I got 7 mpg today...

I'll make it though!

Ross have you got any Mk3 Polo 1.0 or 1.3 heads? Any SPI stuff, like wiring loom, ecu, inlet/throttle body etc?

not shore mate i might do. if i have lots of wiring looms but there are bits missing off them. got a gt botom end that i realy nead out the way. the day of the meat you cood come throw and have a look if you wont..

Depending where the meet ends up then yeah I might take a run along and have a look. Already got a GT bottom end in the Golf, I semi-rebuilt Scott's old one. Got a GT head and cam as well, but it's fucked methinks, came off a 150k GT!

Thinking about converting the whole lot just to 1.3 SPI so I can get some reasonable economy out of it

Although - I think Scott had a GT head as well?

ye i think he dose..most of the bit i have are bits that will come in handy for my gt. my mate is braking his whole mk2gti 16v so if you nead eny thing let me no i am going over this week some time to get some stuff off it
