The advantage of the Beefeater is it's somewhere to sit down in the warm though... Most of us will be down early enough to eat, it's just the Aberdeen crew that won't be there in time.

Drive a saxo....or rather my saxo for over an hour and when you finally can get out and sit in a proper seat its like heaven on earth

My Golf decided a few days ago to flatten its battery completely and fuck me right off - so i've been using the G40 for the last 3 days without a hickup - other than a weird noise under the bonnet - traced to a loose toothed belt. Put a slot of time on one side tonight after work - but didnt make it home, the charger stripped its teeth AGAIN! So I've just spent the last 2hrs with my dad working on the GTD - swopped the battery and tightened up the alternator belt - looks like I may have left the lights on........

I'll be at the meet, but not sure what car i'll be in yet - dad's volvo - Ross's Mk3 as a passenger or the GTD if it starts tomorrow!
