HI ALL!!

Ok, my matre at work got hold of some spray that he sprayed on his rear lights that gave them a darker look. I was thinking of trying give my head lamps a slite coating but should i spray over the top of the glass or can the glass be removed and then spray it on the inside(which i think would look cooler!!) my car mk2 polo btw!! Oh and any one know where can get the spray from??

the only thing you can do is paint the none refectie bits inside

yea you put them in the oven so that the glass is easy to remove cant remember how hot someone said to do it etc..

as mbh69 says be better to paint the none refectie parts of the light unit its self not the lense theres a guide on here some were for doing it looks good tho!! tinted glass would look bad ass tho as well but you gotta think of the night driving.

oven is pointless, if your really struggling to get the glass off use a hairdryer and dont risk melting your headlight!

alright but how would i refix the head lamp?? just with any stong decent glue i guess??? when you say paint the none reflective parts that basicly everything inside the unit and leaving the main mirrerd part?? i dunno where get some tinting spray or it just be any motoring store?? yea i was thinking trying get some brighter biulbs cos night driving bad anouth as it is!!! cheers guys!!

Get some headlight protectors and tint the inside of them!! That way when it's MOT time you just chuck em in the corner til you're through the MOT!

and you can get the protectors so nice looking and still let the light shine through

used female tights and when it comes to the mot take them off

I've only put 2 or 3 tiny mists of ligth tint on the glass come out good

the light seems the same but my headlights need realining cause i was fannying about with them haha and the lights isnt that good on mk3 anyways

i think you can do them think you just do the same as what i did

yea cool i got some those 50% brighter bulbs form halfords this week end and they make a difference!!! so if i tint mine shouldnt be too bad!! cheers mate
