Can somebody tell me what the owners manual says tyre pressures should be on the 6n 16v - Thats 14" wheels.

Haynes manual in its amazing gayness doesnt cover the 16v and i never dot a manual with the car.

I'm pretty sure there isnt a sticker / plate in there. surely someone must know

there is a sticker from the factory... 28rear - 30front psi rings a bell tho... or thats just what i run mine at

According to the VW Polo 6N Owner's Manual, the inflation pressures for 185/55/14 tyres are:

Front:

Half load/Full load

2.5/2.7 bar

Rear:

Half load/Full load

2.3/3.0 bar

This does seem a little high to me, but these are listed on p.161 of the Owner's Manual as 'winter' tyre pressures. If that makes any difference.
