i am wanting to buy a new back box for my 1.6 6n. i want one because i hate the noise the standard one makes, and i was wondering if anyone could recomend me one that could be fitted and not have to cut my rear bumper for it to poke out, i would rather it be hidden like the standerd one is. (but i dont want my car to sound like a stupid chavmobile.)

I'm not sure but if you got one done at powerflow i think they could make one so its hidden? i was going to get my exhaust for my mk4 done there hope this helps

Do you have someone near you who does custom exhausts,like Powerflow?

My advice is to take it to them and have a box fitted with a hidden tailpipe.

I dont think you can buy performance back boxes with a hidden tail pipe, I've never seen any.

As above really, you are best off finding a custom exhaust place near you like powerflow or longlife which I used.

Sorry for thread hijack but has anyone got any pics of cars with a thin exhaust tip angled off instead of straight..usually the beetles and other early dubs use them?
