jimmyb how did you attach your rear plate?

i tried usin 6mm sticky pads but the bottom of the tub made it hard to get them to get a decent surface area to stick as it pushed the bottom of the plate out

have you screwed yours in??

I just screwed mine in.

I've only got the 1 plate, only put it on the front at shows, in that picture the plate it wedged under the boot plynth.

I had the idea of making a braket that holds the plate away from the tub though:

The 2 other possible ways I can think of would be to:

A: Make the top bits of the bracket shorter and the bottom wider so the plate sits at an angle to clear the bottom of the tub.

B: Weld in the US spec boot lid tub and use the rear boot plynth from a US MK2 Golf.
