I'm new on here so I thought I'd post up some pics of my newly aquired Polo GT.

It has at some point belonged to a Club Polo member before so some of you may recognise it

It is quite well spec'd up, already having fitted:

Weitec lowering kit(40mm)

Electric windows

Central locking, linked to a cat 1 alarm system

Late spec rear lights

Clear front indicators and smoked side repeaters

Debadged grille

Has the dark early spec GT interior(was originally the light spec)

Plans for the near future include:

An induction kit and chip from Hardhitter's tuning section

Some sort of stainless exhaust system(it already has a decat pipe fitted)

A change of wheels, probably go upto 15"

Will add more as and when I go along, enjoy :-D

Welcome to the forum Chris!! That's one sweet GT. I've just got myself the 1 litre coupe and am workin on it at the min before I post pics, so you would be shocked how many people called Chris on this forum have mk3 Coupe's!! lol must be a Chris thing...

P.S. them wheels look great dont change em, if I were you I would get one of PhilJ (Jackson Tuning)'s 70/60 or 80/60 spring and shock kits instead of bigger wheels!!

That went on your wife's GT. It has my old decat from the Mk.1 NZ on it now.

What front spoiler is that from?

its a 1990 passat shortened would you like to buy it?

Looks pretty mint mate, should go lower though. My GT is 60/40 and i have 15" on it. Little bit different plus it works

I'm running sebrings and they are mental. Dont think anyone else on here is runnig them either!

hopeing to get the wheels back for the weekend and also induction kit and chip should be a riving soon

ahh this is were i got the inspiration to do my speakers today, man i was up late last night, and woke up with an erge to finanly make some. What have you coverd the mdf in. I take it , it is mdf. Looks smart. This is how far i got today, I see yours has the notch cut out so the door closes properly, mine closes but needs a good slam lol.

I didn't make them, but according to previous owners, they are MDF, covered with a fine layer of sponge, then trimmed with black vinyl. The fixing screws go in from the back of the door cards so no screw heads showing.

The electric windows help get rid of the problem of the window winders catching the door builds.
