Hi all, right i think i should probably sell one of my MK1's.

The blue one needs a loving home.

With everything i am doing now i just wont have the time to give it what it deserves.

So if i get the right offer from the right person i may well part with it.

I will not sell it to anyone that wants to cut it up or slap a set of 20's on it. It needs to be loved, but with my orange MK1 and my Karmann i dont have the time or space.

It is a great car and drives perfect, it is a better base car with more history than my orange one.

What's it like for tax, test and tinworms?

It hasnt been taxed since 1998 and i haven't even registered it, so it is still a 1 owner car from new.

Theres no need to sorn it as the dvla have long forgotten about it.

It has just had a years MOT put on it.

As for rust, the front passenger wing has gone at the bottom, but it is fix able as the rest is fine. The rear of the sills have been patched by a cowboy many moons ago and could do with fixing. The floor is solid.

I haven't even got around to polishing it up yet, so the body is as i found it.

Interested - Price?

Well I'm not sure on price, i've seen some rough ones go for £600 and theres on for sale at the minute with no MOT for £800, so my Florida Blue one with amazing history and a full MOT has got to be worth £950.

part x with a mk2 breader??? wouldnt dream of touching anything on it, full resto job:biggrin:

got hold of a mk1 engine for free with 52,000 miles so looking for a shell really/or if i cant find a whole car.

I made the mistake of looking at it today and i love it, so tempted to keep it.

I want this as a total stocker and my orange one parked next to it rubbing the floor

I even went and brought a new wing for it just incase it needs it :)

This is back up for sale, due to the chap buying it suddenly deciding he couldnt raise the money.
