Headlight Bulbs

Featured Replies

Thought id just show you my new sidelights and my new dipped headlight bulbs.

The bulbs are Ring xenon gas filled ones, and the sidelights were first changed to blue sidelights. This attracted too much of the wrong sort of attention, so after 4 months of running those I changed to the same bulbs in white, which look slightly ice blue so they look kinda cool and give off a kind of xenon look. Here are some pics: :D

Here are the standard boring white (yellow) sidelights:

Then came these blue quad LED ones, which I had to change after getting pulled over for them:

And these are the current sidelights, the same quad LED ones, but now in white. Look more white in reality. In these pics they seem almost the same as the old blue ones I had. Very bright and look really cool. Not bad for £6.00.

Here is a pic of the new sidelights, and the new xenon bulbs, not sure if they make a difference, but they look a lot brighter.

Thanks for looking!! :-D

they look nice.

Thanks mate :-)

look a bit too blue for my liking if i'm honest...i opted for the white l.e.d's which look far more like the light produced by a HID kit

I know you say they are less blue in reality but I preferred the standard sidelights.

Jeeez this thread is old lol.

The 9 bulb ones don't fit, I tried them last year they are too fat.

If you have a GTI I think you need to remove the bumper and headlamp everytime you change a bulb.

They are hardly blue at all really.

This was like 1.5 years ago.

I run a single LED each side along with a 6k HID kit.

Alright, steady on.

I can't help it if a newbie has dragged a thread up from a couple of months ago insteading of PMing you.

I can only go on the photos I see.

I wasn't having a go or anything, sorry if it sounded like that but I wasn't at all.

Fair enough mate, to be honest it did sound a bit like you were, no hard feelings or nothing though now you've cleared it up.
