sorry to bring up old topic, but i wouldnt mind know this as well

Well the spare wheel goes in the huge round hole in the boot floor known as the 'spare wheel well'. It looks a bit like a kitchen sink, but without the plughole.

However, the other two I'm not so sure of.

The jack goes in the spare wheel, and should be held in place with a strap. Triangle? What, warning triangle? That i dont know. If it fits in the spare wheel, you may be onto something.

However, its been known to fit in the rear panel. But not easily,or without broken clips, depending on the model.

there is a black plastic cover for the jack, which sits inside the rim of the spare wheel. the little spanner, wheel brace, jack and screwdriver all clip into the black case which then sits snug in the wheel. il try to get a pic for you tonight and load it up for you.

should be able to get one of the black plastic case things for like a quid from a scrap yard. i would imagine any vw from the same sort of era will have exactly the same kit in the boot.

Sorry if this reply is a lil late but the warning triangle lives on the underside of your bonnet.
