seen some nice 17's with 205 40 17 tyres, as far as i can see they would give the same overall diameter as the standard 195 55 15's

so what offset would i need to get to run them??

17's on a Polo....no no no .... 16's that's what you want. Lighter, better fit, better handling, better ride and more comfort...oh they look better too.

i wudnt put 17s on mine 16's tops and a drop, in my eyes look alot betta m8

Will look like a roller skate! My mate had 16 on his lowered 40 and it scrubbed. 15 is the way forward, dropped on its hoop.:)
