A few more little things done today

I stripped my struts down sand blasted,painted and fitted new wheel bearings

I resprayed the rocker cover to tidy the bay up and fitted my rebuilt charger

Also put the bolts in my rims and fitted some wheel nut covers.Not sure on the nut covers opinions wanted as i wanted black ones but the guy sent chrome

What's the scoop with the hubs and painting them? Do you have to do this? They come bare from VW...?

cheers you dont have to paint the hubs and i believe they do come bare originally but they were grubby so i sand blasted them and painted the to keep it tidy

more updates tommorow with a bit more blasting and painting then hopefully all bk together

struts look awesome, wish i did that to mine before i fitted them, fuck if I'm taken them out again they were a mish. But yeh your G looks pucka. all red looks sooo good. Maybe spray your grill red?

Today i got the suspension stripped down and cleaned the inner arch up then gave it a coat of underseal.Also sand blasted and painted the drive shaft and fitted new cv joints and bottom arm as the one on there wasnt a g40 one

before the strip down

mid way through cleaning the arch

strut built up and back in

just caliper an carrier to paint and fit then fit new track rod then can move onto the other side

bit of an update not done much just got the front suspension back together.Shame you cant see it with the wheels on after all that work
