pointless lol

what to do with modding a car isn't pointless

the point is it's for competitions not for drining around ;)

it's not just filler the fillers on top of the fiberglass to give a smooth paintable finish ;)

I think currie thinks about it the same way as me.

As in if its clear and loud enough to hear then its job is done. It doesn't need to make you struggle to breathe and make your heart implode.

Different strokes for different folks I guess. Not something I'd do personally, I'd want to spend the money on going faster not louder!

Then people who arent into going fast could say "if it gets to legal speeds and drives nicely at those speeds then its done its job" ;)

Deffo a love or hate kind of customisation (sp?) not something i`d personally do but man is it awesome :unibrow::badgrin: puts a grin on my face whenever i hear it

but its silly, imo there is a level of noise that is tolerable and after that it just makes you feel weird!

at the moment thats at about half volume on my sub and number 20 on my headunit. i like the bass sound dont get me wrong, i have twin 12"s and a big ass amp [not in comparison] but its way louder than it ever need be.

well my car does 70 with ease any faster and i might poo it gets scary

70 is fast enough, uk road speed limits maximum is 70, so why go faster and risk loosing liecense, when you spend so much on a car, that you may not even be able to drive.

looking good there mbh, might hear it at the mk4 shoot in a few weeks if you make it.

are the seat belts (harnesses) fastend to the floor?

also what are the little holes for at the sides ? three on the drivers and two on the passanger side?

doubt the system will all be fitted in a few weeks but you never know i'll try and bring it down though :)

harnesses are bolted to the floor

holes are if i have to run more wires through at any stage you never know when you might have to ;)

did i see a past post from you, about changing the seats? how will you do this, are you able to push the seats back far enough to get them off there runner?

people will never see the holes any way will they, the seats wont have to move at any time so the holes will be hidden.

i will be changing the seats they will still come out the runners not sure what i'll be running seat wise though i do have a few ideas ;)

I'm not even that bad. I have full standard system with a CD headunit. I'd not have even changed the head unit if it was a CD one!!
