just wondering if cis let you have any mods on fully comp. only talking about coilovers and new wheels thats it. (two things)

when i asked they said you can only change wheels if they are the same size, but nothing else. Might have changed now i asked about a year ago

y declare them. no1 else does

because if you crash you will be in deep shit so you might aswell not take an insurance policy no point, as it will be invalid anyway

i was thinking about not declaring

however a few people have told me now that cis do allow mods anything except for performance upgrades like engine. ill defo give them a ring and see what they say. fingers crossed

yeah they do allow mods, my mates one was an ex feature car with everything declared including induction kit and exhaust. only thing that wasnt declared was head skim etc to lower compression as there was no way that they could find out.

But other than that they are not a bad insurance company for mods.

NO! CIS dont allow ANY modifications,just come out of a policy with them...my polo was lowered but not declared,when i phoned and asked them to put it on the policy that it was lowered they told me to take the lowering kit off as i would not be insured...i said OK will do ran it the next 6 months on its arse,silly i know but nevermind i aint got the car anymore...next car is going to have all modifications declared...

so they allow some people to have mods and some not
