i dunno if this helps but

you need to do battery negative to chasis, follow your negatice terminal to a point where it is bolted to the car, probably less than 12"

the alternator is earthed to the engine, there should be a wire going from the car to the engine, probably 8awg ish size, replace that, in my mk2 it was by the alternator mount on the right of the engine

hth

will

I've seen that but it doesnt help me much!

anyone with a mk5 done this? or a mk4 or 6, one in which it will be similar?

or even anyone that would do mine with me?

anything. ta.

suppose i could giv you a hand again wudnt be two hard replacing a couple or wires my amp will be back with me tomorrow :D so i hear a battle coming along!!!!

LEGEND! hopefully il have the kit for the meet.

HA, you may well beat me, but i have boot plans once i change the rear speakers and get some tints eventually. long wait tho. lol

haha what we guna do it in a undergorund car park again at the meet lol

na mine well quiet cus the box isnt that good but its in the making... plus i dont have amped components or 6x9's

lol. well. you done a tb3 upgrade before?

yeah, would you be interested in my speaker amp for yours? might get a jbl 4 channel to match the sub amp :)

haha na i aint done it before, should be quite simple tho... its only the wiring you need help with... you can change a battery right lol

like on of those links said you dont have to remove all the old wiring you just disconect it and run the new stuf along side...

yeah, but whats the point in leaving it doing nothing next to it?

yes i am capable of changing the battery. cheeky sod! lol

hahahahhahahaha :D

well for one it might be all wrapped up in the loom which will be a sod to cut it all loose (not sure if it is tho???)

but if it aint shudnt be too hard to get read of it... cus take awhile tho lol dont think its best doing it at a meet lol

lol, yeah il leave it there then, unless its seperate to everything else :)

anyway, back to my amp offer ? :p
