GT owners help

Featured Replies

Can someone do me a big favor and have a look at the relays near the fuse box, basicly just done a conversion and had no luck in geting the fuel pump to prime but just realised both my relays are 4 pin! One should be 5 pin and i need the part number off it.

Thanks for any help

Ash

Nice one mate, managed to get one from motor factors as VW main dealer are tossers and didnt want to help me cos my car is more then 3 years old lol.

Cricky didn't know this. Is this still going to be the case if doing a conversion in the Mk2?

Cheers,

Mark

Edit... Are these the ones that attached next to the ECU in the engine bay or the ones behind the glove box?

Yes, this has been a mega problem!

The ones that are next to the ECU. My GT loom didnt come with the relays so i thought ah well will use my old ones, but the one on the right has got 5 pins rather then 4. Without this 5 pin relay theres no spark and no fuel prime! Had me stumped for a while. I'm going to put it on the GT / G40 specific section.
