I ran Toyo 195s on my 14x6 and they were fine, really good tyre but soft as hell and i went thru them so quickly in the G.

Before that i had 185s Yoko and they were just as good.

each to there own, and this has been discussed loads on here too. :p

yoko 195 45 14s arent that much smaller prof than the 185 50s - whereas the toyo 195 45 14s are much smaller than the yoko 185s when i've had them

it has been discussed but not 195s particularly. not that i can see..

toyos are too expensive tbh.

its now the descision between 185 50s and 195 40s

unfortunately the 40s are supposedly a bit tuff!

Imho it will depend on which car you're putting them on.....

I think that you will find the 40's pretty unforgivving especially if you're running it on those coilovers on Gunther, it will be an extremely harsh ride. The 185's will give you enough contact with the ground whilst still maintaing a good ride.

7/7.5 has to be 195's, 185's are too narrow.

185 goes on a 8.5 fine

I've got a pair of nearly new 195/40 Contis for sale if you're interested.

To answer your question all the tyres you mentioned will be fine.

No it doesn't...that's too much stretch. A 195/45 is for 6.0-7.5...or at least a Toyo T1-R is.
