Hello, first of i used to have a saxo vtr but it got written off.

I'm looking for a new car and polo's have caught my eye for a while now and the price range seems to have reduced.

I'm looking to buy a standard one then doing a few bits to the exterior.

I.e

Tints

Angel eyes

Rear smokes

nice black alloys

lowered and then maybe work to the interior.

I want it subtle though!!

Can anyone recommend a car (model) to get?

I've found a 1996 N Reg VOLKSWAGEN Polo 1.6 CL (what does 'CL' mean?!), which i will be looking at soon.

How much money wil it roughly cost to do these things to it??

lowered and then maybe work to the interior. lowered from a garage about 150 with tracking camber sorted on top of what the suspension costs coilovers (adjustable suspension can be had for as little as 200quid

al based on approximations like...some stuff will be cheaper obviously if its second hand there is always bargains to be had!

plus people are always kind and friends etc can help you fit stuff to save money

welcome to the club, look out for a few things when you go see the car liks rust under arches and door sills there some more comon faults which I'm not too sure off others can help you out :)
