are they the ones out of my old 1 litre? there were superb speakers! I'm rinning jl audios now which kick a lil bit harder!

Err yeah sure i'd show you but will i was nearly finished modifying them it shattered :( so no more speaker covers....

Guess ill have to design my own funky ones or just leave them open

in germany they sell replacement speaker covers made from mdf with acoustic fabric over the top, might be worth looking into if only to replicate the design!

if i were you m8 i would make new speaker covers for them, otherwise you might get them nicked

I got In Phase 13cm slimline speakers for the rear interior panels, going to make MDF plates for them to mount to. Also 17cm slimline speakers for the doors and am mounting them onto MDF which I plan to trim with black vinyl and screw onto the doorcard, sounds dodgy I know but will look good. Pissed off cos my week keeps getting worse:

1. I lost the bloody black vinyl, I swear!! lol left it sitting in the kitchen and it's just vanished!

2. The Clarion head unit may not be working, the screen wont light up so have to get it tested tomorrow, could be my dodgy wiring tho!

P.S. G40 Jon didnt you make your speaker mounts for the doors? They looked damn good.

hey chris, I'm newbie when it comes to audio stuff but i know what you are talking about lol, how many speakers u got in your car and what cd player as i aint got a clue how many speakers i can have in my car without my cd player buggering up lol, its a jvc KD-G162
