Removing Oil from Paths

Featured Replies

Hey all,

Recently did an oil change on one of the cars pre-xmas.

Long & short I have some oil now spilt on some concrete down the side of my house & I need to get it removed asap, as it is spreading pretty quickly with the wind & rain today.

Any tips or advice on how to get rid of the stuff??

Thoughts please

If you could see the size of the oil slick, it may take a few pots to do the job!!! :paranoid:

i normally just use sand :? , leave it then sweep over it with water works all the time

Caustic Soda...if you can still buy it

Some of the really cheap brand drain cleaners are just that - lightly watered down caustic soda in a bottle.
