Hi there guys just joined the forum. I am no stranger to the VAG scene having owned a mk3 golf, mk2 golf gti 16v, new fox and now my wee polo.

Picked it up 2 weeks ago for the nice sum of 800 pounds.

Has fsh, lots of receipts and was previously owned by a doctor who serviced it at least twice a year. Got 114k on the clock but has no rattles etc and

really is immaculate. Just been serviced etc and runs very well. Plans are to first of all get some nice wheels and lower it on a proper sports supesion kit and remove the bump-strips etc.

Not many white open air polos where I stay and it has a pretty cool private plate beginning h20 as you can see in the pics...to me it relates to the water-cooled vw community.

Needs some little bits of surface rust touched-up but it's white so to be expected.

Thanks guys, I look forward to being involved with the forum and hope to get some parts etc from here. I also am involved with scottishvag and I've liked veedubs since I was 7 years old.

I'll also attach a few pics of my mk2 2litre 16v which I spent thousands on, only for the engine to explode :-( and a wee pic of my old 205 track car.

Loving the Mk2 . Is it a 16v conversion or is it just the fat tyres making it look slightly high on ride height ? Blaitently one of the best coloures for Mk2's looks fairly standard too apart from a lil bit of debadding and front grill/lights
