POT-WHOLE BUKELED MY WHEEL

Featured Replies

rite i was going down this bit of a country road and just by the junction onto a main road my car droped dwn a foot on passanger side and i heard a loud banging sound and straight away i could tell i had a puncher at the least.

so i pulled up and put the spare on(which is like a bike trye lol) and drove home but as i went past where it happend i noticed it was a massive potwhole in the road where it bends.

i know my alloy wheel is probley buckeled and its made a mess of the side of it and its nocked my tracking out and nakerd the trye(which yeah was almost due to be changed but thats not the point).

have i got anyone i can ring as it is a fairly busy road and must have been spotted before.

or would all this be more trouble than its worth.

You need to take photo's of the hole me friend then take it up with the local council. Also need to get a quote for the repair of your wheel and replacement of tyre. worst comes to it, go through the small claims court.

Apparently though isn't it that they will only pay out if the pot hole was previously reported or if they were aware of it but had still not dealt with it?!

I know someone who tried this and they didn't get very far with it because of this reason.

get a friend to report the problem leave it a couple of days and then make your complaint about the damage done to your car!

well funny enough i went dwn this morning and its bin filled with trmac so they must have known about it so I'm going complain and say if they knew about it how come no sign was put in place.

they wont listen to that mate ^^^

they'll just say they had tarmac'd over it ages ago, you can probably only use that if you have dated pictures of the pothole

well I've complained and I've got a dated recepit for the work that i have had to have done and i have a witness and I've told them where I've had the work done so they can ask them if they want.

just got wait and see what they say.

omg what is it with potholes these days, this happened to me only last week and i think my dad is currently sorting out the complaint for me.
