That is sweet!! The bodywork looks mint, did you tidy up rust and paint it yourself or was it a rust free shell? I bought my mk3 at night which I'm kinda regretting as there's quite a few rust spots appearing here and there lol

Yea if you saw it close up you wouldn't say that, its got its fair share of rust. Structurally sound, only bad bit is n/s inner wing which I have to do this summer. And drivers door is pretty bad.

Theres loads of chips/scratches etc and a repair to the o/s rear quarter which is starting to bubble through. Will do my best to save her anyway, don't let a bit of rust put you off most cars have it... Rust ain't a crime!!

Fitted a GK inlet manifold this week (BIG thanks to Danny Lee and Eeekie!), as well as refurbing/stripping the carb. Drives pretty well, but need to get it on a rolling road to play with jets eventually. No pics yet though sorry.

Had a new stainless backbox fitted today with a slightly different design on the tailpipe! Looks nice I think, pics next week.
